PPI N54 Forged Piston Set W/rings and pins

PPI is proud to introduce its own piston line for the N54. These are Forged aluminum 4032 alloy pistons in 84mm bore and 10.2:1 compression. 

Our 4032 aluminum pistons consist of 85% aluminum, 12.2% silicon, 1% magnesium, 0.9% copper, and 0.9% nickel.

They ship complete with Rings and wrist pins. Rings are standard fit but come on the small side. We recommend opening up gap to the following. 

Bore (in inches) X 0.0050 Top Ring = ring gap in inches  

Bore (in inches) X 0.0055 Second Ring = ring gap in inches

As with any engine we recommend double checking all clearances. 

We strongly recommend Amsoil engine assembly lube and Amsoil break in oil for the first 1000 miles. 

After that we recommend to run Amsoil signature series 0W40 and Amsoil oil filter. All of the above can be found on our website.
